(a) If this happens within the 1st round of play and after turn 50, all paid players *actively engaged in a tournament game, at that time of crash, can choose to either be refunded, as described to the right and not be eligible for any prizes OR prizes for runner-ups will be awarded but not the grand prize or 1st prize choices. If before turn 51, then each player can either restart or accept a refund as described to the right.

(b)  If this happens within the 2nd or 3rd  round of play and after turn 50, all paid players *actively engaged in a tournament game, at that time of crash, can choose to either be refunded, as described to the right and not be eligible for any prizes OR prizes for 1st & runner-ups, but not the grand prize, will be awarded, with first choice position based on wins & combined score of rounds & current round.

(c)  If this happens in the final game of play and after turn 50, all paid players *actively engaged in this tournament game, at that time of crash, can choose to either be refunded, as described to the right and not be eligible for any prizes OR prizes for will be awarded, with first choice position based on wins & combined score of rounds & current round.

In the case of allowing a replacement player, 100% yes votes by the affected game is required and >66% yes by all other active players.

18 - If this host dies, in a fiery car accident or some other undesirable form of earthly departing event, then have a party for me!
If possible the tournament game files will be given to another host to resume play. Prizes will still hopefully be available and sent.
Death to King George Dubya!!

Tournament Game Plan:

3 rounds of combat will determine who
the final game 11 prize winning players are.

The winner selection each round will depend
on the number of players initially involved, and
win / score combination at the end of each round.

RSTs will NOT be available for any game until it is ready to start.
Round 1 will be all standard, except for home worlds.
R1 game hconfig will be 100% default, and max planet settings.
The following game rounds will have a custom map, at least.
Starting home world locations will always be different.
Turn 1 of round 2 and above may not have
an RST file due to construction needs.

In order to speed things up, each round will have
an accelerated startup, with many planets at various
stages of development with many pre-constructed &
positioned ships filled with clans & other nice goodies.

Games will run early if all turns have been submitted.
So don't be the last one to do so, unless certain!!!
After turn 10, when there is at least 1 day between turns,
games will run on time, no delays for lates.

Hosting time is Daily for turns 1- ~10.
From turn 11 to ~25 : Su-Tu-Th-Sa.
From turn 26 to ~49 : M Th Sa.
From turn 49 to ~70 : M & Th.
From turn ~70+ : Th.

For Round 1, race choices will be by player at top of the
signed-up list and progress to the next and so on.
#2 players choice will be attempted in game 1 if available,
if not then he will be put into game 2
#3 player, g1 then g2, etc.
Number of R1 games is determined by total players in signed-up list.
For rounds 2 & 3, it will be based on the NFL draft...
Worst / last place position advancing gets 1st choice.
For final round, 1st choice will be taken by player with
highest total AutoScore points from all prior games,
2nd choice for 2nd highest...
Choice 1 will go to game X position X, choice 2 to game X, etc.
until each game is full then further selections go to
the next game pool for the round.
This will ensure an even distribution of
skills amongst each rounds game players.

Game configuration & add-ons list will be
posted online before round 1 begins.

"The Q" will be the AI in use for anyone
needing to use it for a limited* time.
Allowed only after game turn 15.

The number of players advancing to following rounds depends on the number initially starting but will be evenly distributed over multiple games each round.

7+ players per game (56 minimum total) at start for round 1.
Top 4-5 players for each game will advance to next round.
Highest combination TimScore / Autoscore determines next game race choice.
That is, Best for Tim score and for Autoscore, combined as shown below.

player V race 1 = timscore 14900, autoscore 3.6million = 3 /
player W race 6 = timscore 15300, autoscore 4.0million = 2 /
player X race 2 = timscore 14900, autoscore 4.1million = 3 /
player Y race 11 = timscore 14100, autoscore 4.2million = 4 /
player Z race 9 = timscore 22800, autoscore 3.1million = 1 /

If race 9, 10, or 11, use 90% Autoscore value... race 8, use 96%...
this is because the economics required for building free fighters by these races
is lower than that for buying them or for torpedo races.
Then take autoscore value / 100 and add to timscore for win positions.

player V = 14900 + 36000 = 50900 = 4th
player W = 15300 + 40000 = 55300 = 2nd
player X = 14900 + 41000 = 55900 = 1st
player Y = 14100 + 37800 = 51900 = 3rd*
player Z = 22800 + 28900 = 50700 = 5th**

*Player Y has substantially more offensive / defensive ability than player V does.
** Z has conquered far more space than the others, but has failed to beef up its economy, expanding too fast for its own good.. like the Nazi's did.
